Moving checklist

We understand that moving home is a stressful and busy time so we aim to make this period as easy as possible by providing you with the information you need every step of the way. Our negotiators will go through the entire process with you and our documentation is comprehensive and clearly laid out. We have invested in the most up to date technology so that all the forms and contract can be filled in on-line and do not require multiple occupants to be in the same place at the same time.  Once your application has been accepted (subject to contract), our new lets team are on hand to guide you from the referencing process through to the check in on your move day. 

We hope you will find the following checklist helpful:-

  • To secure the property you will need to pay a tenancy application charge for each applicant over 18 and a holding charge

  • We wil need completed application forms from all members of the household over 18 and guarantors where required

  • Once references have been submitted we will update you on the progress and if anything can be done to speed up the process

  • When referencing is complete, we will negotiate and finalise the move in date

  • We will arrange any works required and commission an independent inventory condition statement

  • We will send all legal documentation electronically for review and completion on-line (we can produce hard copies if required)

  • Before your move in we will require the balance of monies outstanding in cleared funds

  • Unless otherwise advised, an inventory clerk will meet you at a pre-arranged move-in time

  • Once you have moved in we will send you an advice pack including details of your deposit registration
