Antony joined Sandersons in 2014 and is our Ashford & Folkestone Branch Manager. After attending Grammar School and achieving 3 A-Levels, Antony went into further education at Nottingham Trent University where he gained a 2:1 (BSC Hons) degree is Sports Science and Management. He joined the property industry back in 2006 where he worked his way up from a Negotiator to a Branch Manager within 4 years making a name for himself via two Corporate Estate Agency competitors along the way. He has been in this role ever since and is and is also NAEA qualified. Antony is involved in sales and lettings property valuations, negotiating offers, sales progression as well as the other day to day tasks of keeping the office running smoothly. He brings huge enthusiasm and energy to the role and believes passionately in working in association with clients to deliver a top end service. His commitment to this end is evident in his dealings with vendors and landlords alike. Question re Sandersons approach - Antony is extremely passionate about providing excellent customer service in addition to achieving top results for his clients and achieves this by building relationships based solely on trust. An example of this is one of our major Unique Selling Points in the fact we do not tie our clients into any fixed term contract unlike the majority of other Estate Agents.
Why are Sandersons different?
At Sandersons, we have an extremely pro-active approach to business which helps us to achieve top results for our clients. We achieve this by maintaining sensible stock levels which we regularly ring and email out to our entire database of registered applicants in addition to regularly rotating our office windows with fresh property stock, updating our property images and particulars online as well as our Featured Property Listings on the portals.
Antony has worked in Ashford for the majority of his 12 years in the industry but has also worked in Folkestone, Dover and Canterbury so has a good knowledge of the local market and surrounding towns. When away from the office, Antony has his hands full with his 9 month old baby boy, Chester. Apart from being very busy with this, he has always been a keen sportsman and enjoys both playing and watching his main passion, football.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t waste money on a nice car, put it into savings or property!!
Jess was head hunted by Sandersons in 2008. She was already working in the industry and we had been hugely impressed with her obvious flair for top-level negotiation. Her talent and enthusiasm quickly saw her progress into management. She has managed an expanding team and has received the highest praise from our many satisfied landlords and vendors alike. We are really excited that Jess has returned to work after taking maternity leave with her daughter to join the team 3 days a week.
I live in Sandwich with my beautiful daughter Bella. We are surrounded by our family and friends which is handy considering the amount of time we spend with them! I love to ‘get away’ and always make sure I have a holiday to look forward to being it in this country or abroad. When I’m not being ‘Mummy’ or at work I tend to head to the nearest spa (other Mum’s with toddlers will get this) to unwind! Life is totally bonkers, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What advice would I give my younger self?
Do all the crazy stuff. Take the risks. They’re totally worth it!

What do I like most about Sandersons’ approach?
Sandersons are the only agent that I have worked for that put customer service at the top of their priority list; rather than a constant drive to increase stock levels. They do not tie their clients into long contracts, so they are free to walk away if they are not 100% satisfied.
I moved to Ashford when I was 4 and have lived here ever since, I live in Aldington with my husband and our Beagle. In my spare time I enjoy holidays, especially walking holidays so we can take the dog along too. I am a big foodie and love cooking and eating so the rest of my time is spent at the gym or running in the beautiful countryside.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Work less and travel more. Money cannot buy health or happiness.
Nancy joined the Canterbury Lettings team in 2014 as a lettings negotiator starting her career in the industry. Over the years she has developed her experience and gained the NFOPP level 3 award in Residential Lettings and Property Management. Nancy is extremely organised and knowledgeable on the Lettings process and is ideally positioned to provide support throughout the progression of a new let. We understand that the management of a tenancy at the start is critical for ensuring legal documentation is completed in full and support is provided with an ongoing long term relationship in mind.
What do you like most about Sandersons’ approach?
Having worked for corporate companies previously I appreciate Sandersons laid back but fair approach.
