He has worked as a Branch Manager and Area Director so he has a wealth of experience in residential sales and lettings, land transactions and new homes sales, ranging from SME's to national house builders. Without doubt, Carl believes that Land and New Homes is the shining beacon of Estate Agency. With this in mind, Sandersons headhunted Carl and are delighted he joined Sandersons in September 2017 to oversee the Land and New Homes Department.
What do you like most about Sandersons approach? The reason I wanted to work for Sandersons is that I am extremely passionate about our business and strongly believe that customer service is paramount in everything we do. We also have a proactive approach that stands out from the crowd. This amongst other attributes resonates to the core of the Sandersons brand and for the great people that work within it. As a quote: "Its the little things that make the biggest differences"
I am originally from Tonbridge, but have lived in the Maidstone area for 20 years. I have an 11 year old son and live with my partner and our dog named Bruce. (See if you can work out the name connection from my picture!) I am a typical Man Utd fan in the sense that I don't come from Manchester. However, I do have a season ticket so can lay claim to the fact that I have seen them play "live" dozens of times! I like most sports including football, rugby and enjoy playing golf. I have recently taken up shooting as new hobby. I love spending time with my son and socialising with family and friends, including a love for live music- therefore going to gigs is a must for me. Finally, I have to admit to being a Batman geek and I am always looking looking for items to add to my collection!
What advice would you give to your younger self? Eat less cheese and do more sit ups!
Chris joined Sandersons in 2009 specifically to launch the Ashford office. We subsequently saw unprecedented growth in Ashford as new customers benefited from the attention to detail and flair that Chris and his team brought to the role. In 2011 Chris moved to our Canterbury office and currently heads up an experienced sales team that has continued to grow year on year. Chris has previously worked in kitchen design, recruitment and as a Procurement Manager for a Kent based property developer.
Why are Sandersons different?
Knowing that my opinion matters is a big reason I enjoy working for Sandersons. Not tying clients into fixed term contracts was an idea I put forward and it was embraced by the Directors. I believe it is one of the key ways we are different to other agents.
I have lived in and around Canterbury for over 30 years and currently live in North Canterbury. I met my wife in 2003 and we have two children who attend Blean Primary School. Although a lot of my time is spent with my family, I have a real passion for sport. Over the years I have particularly enjoyed playing football and squash competitively. Unfortunately following ACL injuries and two knee operations I have had to find other ways to keep fit. Since 2013 I have trained at City Boxing in Canterbury and although I don’t fight competitively, I enjoy pushing myself with this type of training. In 2010 I raised money for the British Heart Foundation by cycling 54 miles from London to Brighton. In May 2016 I took part in a Tough Mudder event to raise money for Dancing Eye Syndrome Support Trust. This is a charity that has helped support and raise awareness of a very rare condition called Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome (OMS), which my niece has been diagnosed with. Tough Mudder is a challenging obstacle course set over 11 miles and I raised £2,321 for the charity. In 2017, accompanied by my wife and two young children I took part in a Colour Me Purple 5k run to raise money for The Wisdom Hospice and we raised £223.

Antony is involved in sales and lettings property valuations, negotiating offers, sales progression as well as the other day to day tasks of keeping the office running smoothly. He brings huge enthusiasm and energy to the role and believes passionately in working in association with clients to deliver a top end service. His commitment to this end is evident in his dealings with vendors and landlords alike. Question re Sandersons approach - Antony is extremely passionate about providing excellent customer service in addition to achieving top results for his clients and achieves this by building relationships based solely on trust. An example of this is one of our major Unique Selling Points in the fact we do not tie our clients into any fixed term contract unlike the majority of other Estate Agents.
Why are Sandersons different?
At Sandersons, we have an extremely pro-active approach to business which helps us to achieve top results for our clients. We achieve this by maintaining sensible stock levels which we regularly ring and email out to our entire database of registered applicants in addition to regularly rotating our office windows with fresh property stock, updating our property images and particulars online as well as our Featured Property Listings on the portals.
Antony has worked in Ashford for the majority of his 14 years in the industry but has also worked in Folkestone, Dover and Canterbury so has a good knowledge of the local market and surrounding towns. When away from the office, Antony has his hands full with his 3 year old son, Chester. Apart from being very busy with this, he has always been a keen sportsman and enjoys both playing and watching his main passion, football.

Don’t waste money on a nice car, put it into savings or property!!
Jess was head hunted by Sandersons in 2008. She was already working in the industry and we had been hugely impressed with her obvious flair for top-level negotiation. Her talent and enthusiasm quickly saw her progress into management. She has managed an expanding team and has received the highest praise from our many satisfied landlords and vendors alike. We are now really excited to have Jess settling into her new role as Lettings Area Manager.
I live in Sandwich with my beautiful daughter Bella. We are surrounded by our family and friends which is handy considering the amount of time we spend with them! I love to ‘get away’ and always make sure I have a holiday to look forward to being it in this country or abroad. When I’m not being ‘Mummy’ or at work I tend to head to the nearest spa (other Mum’s with toddlers will get this) to unwind! Life is totally bonkers, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What advice would I give my younger self?
Do all the crazy stuff. Take the risks. They’re totally worth it!

Since joining us we have seen Charlotte push her personal development and we are delighted to now have her in the new role of Development Manager. Heading up the Development Team and managing our marketing, social media and sales progression.
How are Sandersons different?
Sandersons has made me feel very welcome. Having worked for corporate companies in the past, Sandersons has really highlighted the advantages of working for an independent company. I see this with the way they treat their staff and their clients.
I moved to Ashford with my family when I was very small and have lived here since. I attended the local Grammar School which gave me a good head start into shaping the rest of my life. In my spare time I enjoy spending time and holidaying with my family and friends. I sing in a choir which has given me some amazing opportunities like recording at Abbey Road Studios and singing on stage at Disneyland Paris.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Not to pass up any opportunity. I would rather give something a go and then regret it over regretting not doing something in the first place.

Holding a camera or with some sort of board on his feet
My personal photographic work has been selected for a number of competitions, it was most notably featured in the Royal Photographic Society 'International Print Competition', as part of it was included in a touring UK exhibition. Robin joined Sandersons iConn in January 2018 as a lettings negotiator. He has excellent IT and administrative experience so we are really happy to have this level of skill in the team to continue to ensure we deliver a consistently exceptional service to our customers. Apart from a brief move to London, I have lived in Canterbury my whole life. Two years ago I started training Kickboxing at a local club and this year I started competing in local competitions which has been a painful but enjoyable experience.
Last year I completed the PARAS'10 and COMMANDO charity runs which help raise funds for their respective regiments and I also completed a charity log run for Who Dares Cares.
I recently learnt to ski and intend to spend as much time in the mountains as I can in the near future!
