Our Land and New Homes work across the Sandersons UK group. The team hold many years experience working with an eclectic and diverse range of developers and architects across the South East and South West. Projects from an award winning modern eco house, to a small exclusive estate built in green oak right through to a development with over 200 units. We have a passion for good architecture and the impact that it can make on people’s lives. Experienced team members include Alexandra Groen (New Homes Sales Manager), Anita Crispin (Corporate Partner Manager), Julie Smith (New Homes Manager) and Linda Stephens (Marketing Administrator). Alex has a wealth of industry experience in site acquisition, sales and working with developers from conception to completion. Anita has over 15 years experience within the industry and is the main point of contact for our larger private and corporate landlords. Linda has joined Land and New Homes after working with us in branch for over 10 years so she has extensive industry knowledge. Julie also has over 10 years working in branch before joining our Land & New Homes team. They all have a similar passion for building quality and bring a wealth of financial expertise to the team as well as a real flair for customer service and a networking ability extraordinaire.

They, in turn, are supported by our Managing Director, Sophie Arnold who founded Sandersons in 1992, Pippa Scott (Chief Operating Officer), Joe McAuley (Head of Block and Property Management), Matt Strange (Visual Media Manager) as well as a fabulous admin team with dedicated sales progressors overseen by Charlotte Dury.

The team specialise in acquiring land for clients  who are registered with us. As part of the buying service, we identify opportunities (both on and off market), provide valuation advice, identify any potential pitfalls, negotiate the price and manage the process to exchange and completion to ensure a smooth and stress free purchase for our clients. We are proactive in our approach and will often identify areas of potential development thereby releasing land that might otherwise not have come onto the market.

New Homes

We are currently working with a wide variety of builders in the South East, London, Home Counties and South West who are constructing anywhere between 2 to 400 units per year. We offer a comprehensive service encompassing everything from the sale or purchase of land, initial marketing reports and design advice in relation to existing or proposed sites, through to the marketing and sale of the finished units.

Our centralised new homes department can provide market analysis, comparable evidence and advice on sites that are being considered for acquisition or sites that are already owned.  We can review with you how best to maximise GDV on your land bank.

We are also currently acting for some smaller local builders where we are selling smaller volumes of units on an individually negotiated basis.


Developers we have worked with


Our team, from director level to marketing, work closely with the developer to ensure that the service we provide best suits their needs. We deal with all aspects of the process from initial guidance on unit specification through to marketing of the site, on site signage and hoardings as well as online marketing, local press and the major web portals. We can provide our own employed site staff and management team to report to the developers board on a weekly basis. We have examples of sites where we have completed on schedule and significantly ahead of the target income effectively meaning that our involvement became cost neutral for our client.
