Jackie joined Sandersons in August 2016 as a Sales Negotiator. She has worked in sales and customer care for 30 years for numerous corporate and independent companies. Jackie's daily role at Sandersons includes multiple duties. The priority is answering incoming calls, registering new applicants, answering enquiries, arranging viewing and valuation appointments. It’s imperative to gain good rapport and communication with vendors and applicants to achieve the right sale. A great advantage is being able to meet with our clients on property viewing appointments to understand their lifestyle and requirements.
Why are Sandersons different?
I love the passion for legendary customer care. This is always No.1 priority and something I also strongly believe is the strength of a leading business success. We don’t work from a script or targets (like other agents) - Sandersons work from the heart. We work with transparency, honesty and as a company you can trust.
I have lived in Ashford all my life (50 years!!) from the sleepy farming town that has expanded to the thriving town it is today. As someone that loves their food, I love to dine out and enjoy social evenings with my Sandersons’s colleagues as we are one big happy family. I’m a member at my local gym, but don’t visit as much as I should. My passion is gardening in all seasons and DIY around the home (there is always something that can be improved). I have two grown up children and two grandchildren who also live in Ashford. As I used to be a makeup artist, I have given much of my spare time to The Pilgrims Hospice giving facials and makeovers to clients. Such a great reward to help people feel good about themselves.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t fear life’s challenges ahead, embrace and enjoy the journey.
Kerry joined Sandersons in January 2015 as Team Administrator for the Maidstone Branch. Before joining Sandersons, Kerry worked as a Senior PA in London for 16 years in various industries including the Civil Service, Banking and Property. Kerry is now an essential member of our Development Team, focusing on marketing and social media all the way through to progressing a sale to exchange and completion and is currently taking her NFOPP exams.
Why are Sandersons different? If you want to stand out from the crowd, give people a reason not to forget you. Our marketing is second to none and we do not tie customers into long contracts.
See more on Kerry ...I live with my 9 year old son near Swanley, Kent. Most of my spare time is spent with my son and our Chihuahua Frankie. When I do have time to myself I like to go and support my football team, Millwall with my family. I have supported Millwall since I was small and have held a season ticket most of my life. I also like to go the gym, theatre and cinema and whenever possible take a holiday in the sun.
What advice would you give your younger self? Be kind, work hard, stay humble, smile often, stay loyal, be honest, travel when possible, never stop learning and love always.
Back to Kerry ...Charlotte progressed from a career in banking to running her own business as an Independent Mortgage Broker. After taking a career break to have a family, she started working for Sandersons in 2015 and was taken on board to assist in selling a new build site in Ashford. Sandersons were so delighted with the energy & attention to detail she brings that she continued to work for us as Ashford's Sales Progressor. Since joining us we have seen Charlotte push her personal development and we are delighted to have her in the role of Development Manager. Heading up the Development Team, Charlotte manages our property marketing and sales progression.
How are Sandersons different?
Sandersons has made me feel very welcome. Having worked for corporate companies in the past, Sandersons has really highlighted the advantages of working for an independent company. I see this with the way they treat their staff and their clients.
I moved to Ashford with my family when I was very small and have lived here since. I attended the local Grammar School which gave me a good head start into shaping the rest of my life. In my spare time I enjoy spending time and holidaying with my family and friends. I sing in a choir which has given me some amazing opportunities like recording at Abbey Road Studios and singing on stage at Disneyland Paris.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Not to pass up any opportunity. I would rather give something a go and then regret it over regretting not doing something in the first place.
Antonia started working for Sandersons in July 2018. Before this she worked for four years for her family business, an Italian restaurant in Ashford. She also has experience of working in sales for a couple of large retail companies. Antonia currently works as office manager in our Canterbury office. I am also a member of NAEA, making me a fully qualified estate agent
What do you like about Sandersons approach?
I like working for a company that puts both vendors and applicants in the forefront of everything they do, as they don’t tie people in with contracts, they rely solely on building relationships in order to keep people using them.
See more on Antonia ...I’m extremely family orientated and as well as my large family in Kent, my father is Sardinian so I have a lot of relatives living all over the island. Whenever I have a chance to get away, you’ll find me on the beautiful island of Sardinia. I have also recently been to some other gorgeous countries including Austria, Iceland and Sri Lanka, seeing the elephants in the wild was one of the most incredible experiences.
... I also have an unhealthy obsession with television programme Ru Pauls Drag Race

I’m now a proud dog mum to a 5 year old lab and love taking her for walks at the beach and continuing her gun dog training. I also love travelling and have seen some amazing sights across Thailand, St Lucia and The Philippines, where I’d love to go back. With my family being from Canada and Trinidad &Tobago I also enjoy travelling to visit them as often as I can. I’ve recently taken an interest in houseplants and what started off as a small collection of succulents has now grown to the point where I’ve run out of space to put them all!

Lettie first joined Sandersons in 2007 as a junior lettings negotiator and was a member of the Canterbury team for six years. She left the company in May 2013 to gain more experience and work in the sales industry for three years. She feels this helped her develop a greater knowledge and confidence in both lettings and sales. We are delighted that Lettie re-joined the Canterbury team in 2016 as a negotiator and brought her experience with her. Lettie is now re-visiting her passion for art and creativity and has joined our Development Team to working on marketing as a photographer.
What do you like most about Sandersons' approach?
Having experienced the work ethic and culture in other Estate Agencies I can confidently say that Sandersons approach to all aspects of lettings and sales is different as they genuinely care about the customer and the experience that they receive at every stage of the process.
I live in Faversham and have worked in Canterbury for the last twelve years. I live with my long term partner who I met at secondary school. After 16 years together we have just tied the knot and had the most beautiful wedding in Skiathos. I enjoy exercise and cooking and have recently taken up photography which has revived the creative side of my personality. I took GCSE and A level art and this has reminded me of the passion I have for all things creative. I also enjoy holidays in hot sunny climates and hope to travel more in the future as I still have much of the world to see.
What advice would you give your younger self?
If I could give my younger self some advice it would be to have a bit more belief in myself and not to worry so much about the little things.
Kate’s interest in property started in her early twenties she bought, renovated and sold various homes on her way up the property ladder. This passion for houses extended into the renovation of a Somerset farmhouse before moving on to project managing a new build and all the associated problems. Kate has lived in and around Wells all her life so with her local knowledge and coupled
with her knowledge of self builds, eco homes as well as the more traditional building projects she is in an unparalleled position to help you sell or buy your home.
Before starting in Estate Agency and while her family were young, Kate’s love of the countryside lead to her buying and renovating a small farm and producing home grown free-range pork. Along side this she set up and ran a property agency involved with short-term lets for festivals and holidays. Kate is a proactive member of her local community having served as a parish councillor and is regularly involved with a local children’s activity group. Kate is at her happiest when in a pair of wellies and can now be found in the picturesque village of Croscombe walking her dogs and enjoying entertaining in her latest eco-home building project.

Question re Sandersons approach - Antony is extremely passionate about providing excellent customer service in addition to achieving top results for his clients and achieves this by building relationships based solely on trust. An example of this is one of our major Unique Selling Points in the fact we do not tie our clients into any fixed term contract unlike the majority of other Estate Agents.

At Sandersons, we have an extremely pro-active approach to business which helps us to achieve top results for our clients. Chris joined Sandersons in 2009 specifically to launch the Ashford office. We subsequently saw unprecedented growth in Ashford as new customers benefited from the attention to detail and flair that Chris and his team brought to the role. In 2011 Chris moved to our Canterbury office to head up an experienced sales team that continued to grow year on year. As well as continuing to help the Canterbury team grow, Chris is also part of the Leadership Team and his roles include overseeing the company finance and overall performance. Chris has previously worked in kitchen design, recruitment and as a Procurement Manager for a Kent based property developer.
Why are Sandersons different?
Knowing that my opinion matters is a big reason I enjoy working for Sandersons. Not tying clients into fixed term contracts was an idea I put forward and it was embraced by the Directors. I believe it is one of the key ways we are different to other agents.
See more on Chris ...I have lived in and around Canterbury most of my life and currently live in North Canterbury. I met my wife in 2003 and we have two children who attend local secondary schools. Although a lot of my time is spent with my family, I have a real passion for sport. Over the years I have particularly enjoyed playing football and squash competitively. Unfortunately following ACL injuries and two knee operations I have had to find other ways to keep fit. Since 2013 I have enjoyed boxing training and although I don’t fight competitively, I enjoy pushing myself with this type of training. Over the years I have tried to do my bit for charity. I raised money for the British Heart Foundation by cycling 54 miles from London to Brighton. I took part in a Tough Mudder event to raise money for Dancing Eye Syndrome Support Trust and a Commando Run to support Mental Health Resource. I also managed to get my wife and two children to take part in a Colour Me Purple 5k run to raise money for The Wisdom Hospice.
